About usMaxI have been working in the
hospitality industry for over 20 years
and have worked in all areas of catering, including outdoor kitchens.
For many
years, I have also studied and worked with energetic
therapy. I have
worked with open channel healing, studied traditional Usui Reiki to
master
level and Seichem to level 2. I have developed a unique healing
perspective
that has taken me beyond the recognised traditions of Reiki. In 2000 I began my training
in VortexHealing®
Divine Energy Healing
with Ric Weinman and joined the Merlin lineage as a Divine Wizard. I
have now
trained to advanced level and have, along with many other Vortex
healers, taken
part in intensive earth shifts. In my last
job, I worked as
a kitchen manager at Bedford College where I had extra training in
nutrition and balanced choice menus. Whilst working here, I
also taught
basic food preparation and hygiene skills to teenagers with special
needs.
LisaI
have always had an interest in human potential development and
psychology. From
an early age, I volunteered to work at a play scheme for
children with
special needs, working closely with autism and other complex issues. I
have
continued to study aspects of therapy and human potential in areas of
social
care, teaching and adolescent mental health.
In 1999 I trained with Sundoor and Starfire to become a transformational leader and firewalking instructor. I am a certified F.I.R.E instructor. I founded Sacred Flame in 1999 and have walked across the fire with hundreds of people across the UK. I've also organised successful sponsored events and stunning peaceful protests. In 2002, after hearing about Max's fantastic experiences with VortexHealing®, I also become a VortexHealing® practitioner and have since trained to advanced level. For the last four years I have been working as a project worker with the Social, Emotional and Behaviour Support service, writing and piloting tailor made projects in schools across Bedfordshire. Whilst working for SEBSS I trained to be a learning mentor, solution focused coach and a positive wizard (investing in excellence). I have also been trained to work therapeutically with children who have been diagnosed with ADD and ADHD - and restless and impulsive children who have no diagnosis, or whose parents do not wish to medicate their child. I have worked with anger management, emotional literacy, peer mentoring, self esteem, circle time, protective behaviours, conflict management and circle of friends. |
